Disabled Refuge Call System

Disabled refuge Emergency call or voice System is designed to meet the demand for BS 5839 Part 9 compliant disabled refuge, fire telephone and centralized Disabled Toilet Alarm systems. Current Building Regulations insist all new non-domestic buildings with more than one storey provide 'refuge' areas – safe places where people who cannot easily use fire escapes and evacuation lifts can call for assistance and wait until help arrives. Latest effective two-way communication in these areas to assist rescue teams in determining where assistance is required and to reassure people help is on the way. Easily interfaced to Disabled toilet alarms, PDA hearing loop systems, strobes, CCTV activation relays, etc., Master panels of 4, 8, and 16 lines can be networked up-to 224 out stations supports approx. 1000-meters distance with True full duplex speech communication.

Our Refuge master controllers starts from 4 to 224 line 'Compact' system comprises two wall-mounting master controllers (the ECU-4 , ECU-8 and ECU-16 which can handle 4, 8 and 16 lines) and an eight-line expansion unit (the ECU-8S). Typically located in a building's control room or fire services access point, the ECU-4, ECU-8 and ECU-16 allow emergency personnel to communicate via a telephone-style handset with the system's 'outstations' with true full duplex speech communication.

Central operator voice communication system, desktop unit starting from 4 line to 224 lines. Our CCU master controllers and SCU expansion controllers are ideal for larger projects up-to MAX 224 lines. Utilizing the same Type A and Type B outstations as 'Compact' system, and direct integration of Disabled Toilet alarms in each CCU requires an ECU dial unit and multiple LC2 or LC3 line cards allowing operators to communicate with the system's outstations at the touch of a button.
