Refuge call/ telephone System is designed to meet the demand for BS 5839 Part 9 compliant disabled refuge, fire telephone and stadium marshaling systems. Current Building Regulations insist all new non-domestic buildings with more than one storey provide 'refuge' areas – safe places where people who cannot easily use fire escapes and evacuation lifts can call for assistance and wait until help arrives. Our Refuge master controllers starts from 4 to 16 line 'Compact' system comprises two wall-mounting master controllers (the CCU-16 and the ECU-16 which can handle 16 and 16 extension lines) as an sixteen-line expansion unit (the ECU-16). Typically located in a building's control room or fire services access point, the CCU-16 and ECU-16 allow emergency personnel to communicate via a telephone-style handset with the system's 'outstations'.
Can be connected to an SCU-16 controller to increase its line capacity 16 lines respectively. Can be semi-flush mounted using an AFP385 bezel. Easily interfaced to accessible toilet alarms, PDA audio-frequency induction loop systems, strobes, CCTV activation relays, etc.
